A five-star high-end business & convention hotel under IHG Hotels & Resorts. Soft-launched at the end of December 2024 and officially opened on January 18, 2025. It stands as a landmark international five-star hotel in Zhanghe New District, filling the gap of high-end international branded hospitality in Jingmen, focusing on government & business receptions, large-scale conferences, banquets and urban leisure stays. - Architectural & Interior Design
The herringbone facade is inspired by the cultural symbol “Gate of Chu”, wrapped in curved full glass curtain walls. Interior design integrates traditional Chu cultural patterns and Hanjiang River ripples with modern minimalist business aesthetics. Floor-to-ceiling windows ensure ample natural light and city views, presenting a steady and elegant atmosphere ideal for official and business activities.
Lobby · A Dialogue Between Time and Space
- Stepping into the hotel lobby, the reception desk greets guests like a hovering inkstone – its top layer of river sandstone rests atop a walnut wood base, creating the silhouette of a mountain range shrouded in mist. Our design inspiration stems from Chu-style bronze patterns, with metal decorations beneath the counter adorned with abstract relief patterns. Where light and shadow intertwine, the millennia-old Jingchu civilization coexists harmoniously with modern minimalist aesthetics.
Guestroom · Fluid Jing-Chu Elegance
- Upon entering the guestroom, the open wardrobe adopts a tripartite “conceal-hang-store” zoning system, optimizing spatial efficiency. The Zhanghe River landscape lacquer painting on the headboard wall transitions seamlessly into tonal bedding through gradient hues. The accompanying nightstand harbors a hidden innovation – a pull-out tea tray stocked with Jingmen green tea and bespoke tea ware. Blending the warmth of walnut wood, the industrial allure of bronze metalwork, and the cultural storytelling of JingChu motifs, the room transcends modern hospitality functionality to become a microcosm of curated heritage.
Dining · A Chu-Inspired Culinary Stage
- At the Xihui Lou Chinese Restaurant, the “Chu Style Taishi Chair” is created based on the prototype of the Ming Dynasty round chair: the hollowed-out pattern of chime bells on the back of the chair forms a three-dimensional dialogue with the relief on the wall, the legs are wrapped in bronze-like metal, while the seat surface is made of modern breathable fabric. The rotating dining table in the center of the table is lacquered with Chu-style lacquerware craftsmanship, and the hidden patterns faintly reveal the seal script characters of Qu Yuan’s “Li Sao”. In the adjacent Versailles All-Day Dining Room, the leather pattern of the dining chairs is inspired by the diamond pattern of Chu silk fabrics, paired with geometric bronze-colored table legs, creating a modern narrative of the “Bronze Age”.
